JAYNE BUCK
Jayne served as the Vice President of Tourism at VISIT DENVER, the marketing organization for Denver, and a 501c6 not-for-profit organization for 20+ years.
She drove increases in Denver’s visitor numbers for 15 consecutive years and consistently achieved annual goals; worked extensively on strategic plans and annual marketing plans; built long-term partnerships within the community; developed tourism programs including Mile High Holidays, Go the EXTRA Mile hospitality training program and the annual Denver Arts Week marketing initiative; and collaborated with the Denver International Airport, the State of Colorado and the City to attract and market international nonstop flights.
Why the name Good Hue?
Jayne launched the Good Hue, LLC consulting agency in 2020, after retiring from her full-time position with VISIT DENVER. She chose the name Good Hue for several reasons. Jayne grew up on a dairy farm with five brothers and one sister near Goodhue, Minnesota; went to Goodhue Elementary & High School; and, was crowned Dairy Princess of Goodhue County at age 17 before going to the University of Minnesota to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Psychology. Jayne has always had a passion for the arts and the bright, bold colors that visual artists use to create their works! P.S. Jayne is known for her vast collection of contemporary jewelry, ranging from black, white and silver, to a bold array of rainbow colors. In a serendipity kind of way, the words “good” and “hue” remind Jayne of happy colors that surround and inspire her every day, whether they are a gift from Mother Nature or an artistic gift to herself.
